Personalized Support Open to Every Body

Therapeutic Art
Creativity can be a powerful path to self-discovery and healing. Therapeutic Art is a non-clinical mind-body practice that uses art as therapy to support emotional processing, exploration, and meaning-making. Engaging in creative mediums like drawing, painting, collage, and digital media offers a nonverbal path to self-reflection and elevated mood. No art experience is needed—only a willingness to engage.

Mindful Movement
Blending natural movements from Pilates and Strala Yoga, mindful movement nurtures mind-body connection and present-moment awareness in a trauma-sensitive way. It is based on a health-at-every-size approach, emphasizing how you feel in your body rather than how your body looks.

  • Pilates uses slow, intentional movements to improve posture, stability, and deep core strength.

  • Strala Yoga emphasizes gentle movement and ease, drawing from tai chi, qigong, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and classical ballet to reduce stress and promote mobility for everyday life.

Breath is central to mindful movement, serving as a grounding force and source of strength.

Feel vibrant & strong, release stress and heal.

FAQS

  • Wondrous Being blends elements of therapeutic art, creative coaching, movement-based practices, and mindfulness. While therapeutic, it is not a replacement for clinical therapy. It complements other healing modalities by offering a somatic and expressive approach to personal growth and recovery.

  • A weight-neutral approach focuses on overall wellbeing rather than weight or body size. Health at Every Size (HAES) supports people of all body shapes and sizes in developing sustainable, health-promoting behaviors without dieting or restrictive eating.

  • This approach nurtures a compassionate and respectful relationship with your body by addressing the emotional, physical, and environmental factors that shape your experience. You’ll gain practical skills for understanding and regulating emotions, improving communication with and about your body, and strengthening self-esteem. These tools help you make peace with your body, deepen self-connection and trust.

  • No prior experience is needed. These sessions are about the process of expression, exploration, and connection rather than performance or outcome. Everything is guided and adapted to your comfort level.

  • Spiritual health is about cultivating a connection with yourself, others, and the world around you. It’s a deeply personal and subjective experience. For some, it may involve religion; for others, it might mean engaging in meditation, mindfulness, or connecting with nature. Research shows that spiritual practices can support mental health, reduce stress, and enhance overall life satisfaction, while also contributing to a stronger sense of meaning, hope, and creativity. My approach embraces a holistic and inclusive understanding of spirituality as one of many pathways to personal growth and transformation. You don’t need to identify as spiritual—just be open to the interconnection of mind, body, and spirit.
